MOSKIT

1. Purpose

The purpose of the breakage sensors “MOSKIT”, “MOSKIT-ST” (below the sensor) is to detect intrusion of unauthorized people into protected territory, to protect cargoes during transportation and storage, to block windows and doors, different fences, walls and etc.

2. General Information

2.1. The sensor generates an alarm when a thin double micro wire is broken.  The micro wire is placed along the perimeter of a protected territory at a height of 0,5...0,7m and is fixed at a distance of 3...10m on the available objects (poles, trees, bushes, etc.). To protect objects, to block windows, doors and fences the micro wire is fixed on them so that the theft of the objects causes the breakage of the micro wire.
2.2. A double micro wire is pulled out of the case through a hole from the case; the free end of the double micro wire is closed by welding by a match or a lighter. After power supply is ON, the sensor passes into standby control mode of the micro wire integrity. When the micro wire is broken, the sensor generates an alarm and starts generating an alarm. Therewith, a broken beep is ON in the sensor “MOSKIT”; the contacts of the relay are broken in “MOSKIT-ST” and a light signal is ON. When power supply is lower than permissible norm,  the sensor generates a continuous alarm.
2.3. The sensor “MOSKIT” is supplied from a battery; “MOSKIT-ST” is supplied from an external supply unit.
2.4. The sensor has the output “CSCP” (centralized surveillance control  panel) to connect to the central panel using a plug-and-socket from the kit.

3. Distinctive Features

3.1. The micro wire is masking and not visible on the site thanks to its small section and masking color.
3.2. The intruder can not define the moment when he enters a protected boundary because small efforts are required to break the micro wire.
3.3. Efficiency during the organization or the restoration of a protected boundary.
3.4. Possibility to connect the sensor to the central panel with a plug-and-socket.
3.5. Small dimensions and weight.
3.6. Efficiency during the cartridge change with a micro wire and a battery.

4. Specifications

4.1. Minimal stock of the micro wire is 1500m.
4.2. Supply voltage:
“MOSKIT” - 12 V. The battery ALKALINE ALKABAT (AAA2/3) 12 V or similar one;
“MOSKIT-ST” 12…30V (protection against power supply repolarization).
4.3. Maximum consumption current in the standby mode:
“MOSKIT” - 0,025 mA;
“MOSKIT-ST” - 10 mÀ.
4.4. Time of continuous work for the sensor “MOSKIT” in standby mode without battery change is 2…3 months.
