"FORTEZA-M60 (volume, curtain, fan)"

1. Purpose and general information

1.1. The purpose of the monostatic Electro Magnetic Wave sensors “Forteza-M60 (volume, curtain, fan)” (below the sensor) are to protect the perimeter sites, open and closed grounds, storehouses, tunnels.

1.2. The sensor has a volumetric detection zone generated by an electromagnetic field. The principle of the sensor operation is based on the method of linear frequency modulation. Electromagnetic waves beaming by the sensor return on its Electro Magnetic Wave receiver. When an intruder appears in the detection zone,  he changes the received signal. It activates an alarm generated by the sensor. 

2. Distinctive features

2.1. The sensor is a new generation of devices. High “intellect” of the sensor is provided with signal processing of digital signal processor. It permits to refine its functional and operating specifications.

2.2. The signal processing and the division into 12 cross-cut sub bands permit to determine the detection zone lines and to increase the interference to people moving and transport out of the detection zone.

2.3. One or some cross-cut sub bands can be disconnected. It provides the zone’s organization of “approved passages”, i.e. for people’s passages through the checkpoint or for the transport passage through the gates.

2.4. The detection zone division into the sub bands has permitted to increase the interference to birds, small animals and the influence of the weather conditions for comparison with other monostatic Electro Magnetic Wave sensors.

2.5. Having a non-standard form of the detection zone (for monostatic Electro Magnetic Wave sensors) “Forteza-M60 (curtain)” and “Forteza-M60 (fan)” modifications can be applied in the places impossible for bistatic Electro Magnetic Wave sensors use. The sensors are recommended for storehouses, storages, hangars, big rooms protection because the detection zone of this sensor has the form of a “curtain” or “fan”.

2.6. All the adjustments can be checked or changed with a computer. The sensor’s connection to the computer is through USB.

2.7. To determine an intentional deactivation of the sensor, there is “ANTI MASKING” function.   

3. Specifications

3.1. Parameters of the detection zone depend on the following modification:

 - “Forteza-M60 (volume)” - length-60m, width-15m, height-15m;

 - “Forteza-M60 (curtain)” - length-60m; width-3m; height-25m;

 - “Forteza-M60 (fan)” - length-60m; width-25m; height-3m.

3.2. Supply voltage: 6…30 V. Current consumption: 20 ma max (30V).

3.3. Operating temperature:  -50˚…+65˚ C.
